When it comes to washing your digital printing fabric, we recommend following the care instructions provided with the fabric. In general, it is best to wash your fabric on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild washing powder to help preserve the colour of your material.

Choosing the best fabric for printing depends on your project's specific needs. Satin, velvet, and linen each offer unique advantages. Satin is great for vibrant, high-detail prints with a luxurious feel. Its smooth, glossy surface allows for high-resolution printing, capturing fine details and intricate patterns. Plus, satin feels soft and comfortable, making it perfect for luxury apparel, scarves, and decorative home items.
Velvet is ideal for high-end, visually impactful designs. Its plush, dense pile adds depth and richness to printed designs, giving them a sophisticated look. Velvet absorbs ink exceptionally well, resulting in deep, rich colours. The pile creates a dimensional effect, adding uniqueness to the prints. Known for its luxurious softness, velvet enhances the tactile quality of printed products, making it perfect for fashion, accessories, upholstery, and home décor items like cushions and curtains.
Linen offers a different appeal, especially for designs that benefit from a natural, textured look. Its natural texture adds character to printed designs, giving them an organic and rustic appeal. Linen is strong and durable, making it suitable for items that need to withstand wear and tear such as towels or tea towels. Its breathability makes it ideal for clothing and items requiring comfort.

We pride ourselves on providing quick turnaround times and speedy delivery. We can usually dispatch orders for fabric within the same time frame, within two working days, and our aim is always to try to dispatch the next working day if possible, but during busy periods please be advised that it can take up to five working days to fully process some orders.
