Fabric Online are a family run business with a history dating back over 50 years. From our humble beginnings on a market stall in Oldham, we now supply to manufacturers, tradespeople and to the general public across the country.

We set up shop five decades ago, when Barry King resigned his position as a founding director of an engineering firm to join his mother, father and sister Barbara selling fabrics on the Oldham Market. Just a few months later Barry registered the textile company and began travelling Lancashire and Yorkshire wholesaling retail fabrics to other market traders and shop keepers.

Over the next 50 years the company has taken on more and more outstanding team members, never losing that family connection. Seven families now work together and owe their livelihoods to our success.

While we still have strong connections to the manufacturing, retail and upholstery sector, Fabric-Online.co.uk was set up in 2003 to supply our full range of fabrics to the general public.
